Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass -
The classic 12AX7-powered preamp circuit used by Leo in his highly-regarded '60s amps with the
black control panels.
Great for Rock & Roll, Country, and Blues.
Includes a Bright switch to adjust the amount of chime if desired.
Common to all dual-channel models:
Channel 2 controls:
Volume, Bottom -
About as simple as it gets, with the Bottom control to trim the low end to perfect balance and
make the guitar sit perfectly in the mix without muddying it up. Uses an EF86 pentode for gain
and enjoys the pentode's crisp and lively harmonic structure.
Great for British Invasion and 'New Country' guitar sounds--growls nicely when turned up!
Includes a Bright switch to add more chime if desired.
Special shock-mounted socket for the EF86 pentode tube to ensure long life free of the
microphonics that commonly plagues this tube.
Common to all models:
Master controls:
Master Volume, Cut, Reverb, Speed, Depth -
A post-phase-inverter Master Volume to control overall level with minimal impact
on tone and drive (completely transparent when turned all the way up), a Cut control to control
the presence and bite, Reverb for some 'space', Speed and Depth to control the swampy bias-mod
tremolo.
